As part of our 'On Our Doorstep' topic the Robins and Woodpeckers have been exploring our local area of Pennington. A family from America have asked Year 1 to suggest a place in which they could live and our children have decided that Pennington is the place to be. They would like to create an information booklet as opposed to sending information via facebook or snap chat phew! Our pupils have visited a variety of shops including Tesco Express and the fish and chip shop. Amongst the chaos of high vis jackets and pencils slipping out of clipboards our pupils asked a range of questions which they had written and evaluated in previous English lessons. We look forward to seeing their outcomes at the family celebration!
