The children have had a really successful couple of weeks settling into their new classes. For those of you who don't know the classes have new names this year: spiders (Miss Scourfield) and ladybirds (Miss Newman).
The topic for these last three weeks is the Olympics. The children have been busy adding together different amounts of footballs and we spent some time doing some team games on the field. We have produced some fabulous pieces of writing and all of the year 1 team are really impressed with how hard everyone is trying with their learning! We'll done year 1, what a brilliant start to the year!
